Running Calendar: Weston Creek Half Marathon, Canberra Marathon and something in between.
On Thursday I ran the usual afternoon run again and took another three minutes off my time. Thats 11 minutes in one week. These are good signs that I am getting back on track. I made Friday a rest day instead of next Monday, that way I can run through to next Thursday. Friday will be another rest, light run Saturday and WC Half on Sunday. If things go well in this run I will enter the Canberra Marathon.
With that in mind todays run was slightly longer around the three leaf clover loops. I wasn't out to set records, just get some distance in my legs. This is a good run because it has a mix of flat, incline, decline on different surfaces.
Nothing much planned for the rest of the day. I am going to go over my core and strength plans and look at the list of events for the rest of the year that I printed of CR and see if I can plan for the rest of the year.
