Today's run was another long run, anything between 25 and 30km. I was thinking of running the bike path around west basin but given the overcast sky I opted for an out and back to Pine Is and running the additional third loop of the three leaf clover run once I got to the sub station.
Light drizzle fell with some heavier showers. It was cool but not unpleasant conditions for running. The out section was very good but the back was a little slower than I would have liked.
Ran into two fruits on the back section, the Conder side of Tuggie hill. A brief chat and then we both got back to the business of running.
As soon as I got home I jumped into the car and drove to Pine Is to stand in the cool water for 25 minutes. Two fruits was right the water temp is getting cooler and you can actually feel it close down the capillaries in your legs.
Tomorrow is a rest day and then its back into it.
