Yesterday's run was exactly the same as Monday's run. The only difference being that I ran it 2 seconds faster.
Today it was back down to Calwell oval for another speed session. The same grey army were there and they still have me stumped as to what they actually achieve. The grass is a little bit longer than last week and should be cut in the next few days (I did see the mower going round on another oval).
I really enjoy this session but I am still not going all out. I really don't want to have an accident this close to SFT. Still my times are not that bad and they have been getting better each week. I am also seeing the benefits on my long runs eg running from one end of the valley to the other last Saturday. A month ago I wouldn't have been able to do that.
