Running Calendar: I am training for the 6FT Track in March.
Saw the physio yesterday and he worked out that tight back muscles were causing much of the problem. The slight tear has healed but the lower back was throwing my pelvis out of alignment which aggravated my hamstring and quad on the injured leg.
A bit of heavy manipulation and things are back in place. So I decided to test it out this morning. Got out early and ran an out and back to the top of Rob Roy. Thought I might see Two Fruits along the way, I guess he had a late night at work. No problems running, no problems stretching out. I didn't put any speed on but will run the out and back to the top car park at Pine Is. tomorrow morning. Plenty of opportunity for some speed. Monday's plan is for a long, long slow run.
Being realistic I think that I am a little underdone to run 6FT this year so I am looking at the alternatives. I have made any firm decisions but will see how I go over the next week.

I went around the back first to the top of Rob Roy, didn't see anyone else either. Plenty of other runs to consider instead of SFT. Walhalla in Vic has a 50km in May.
