I needed to do a long run so last night I decided to run something at the Cotter. I started at 7AM, the Roger Pilkington group were there. I left them at the carpark and they passed me in the car on their way up to the top of the hill.

A nice easy pace. You have to go up to the top of Mt McDonald now as they have blocked off the other road. I caught up and passed Roger and Co going down the other side of jelly legs. I seemed to be moving ok.

I ran Bullock Paddock Road pretty well and then had to think which run I should do 15, 18, 21. I opted for the middle of the road. The water at Vanities is very low and still not very cold. They have put a barricade on one side of the crossing with a road closed sign - yeah right! I stopped my Garmin at Vanities while I crossed and didn't remember to start it again until a couple of kms down the track - very annoying.

A nice run in good weather. Will have to make the most of it in the next few weeks as the weather and the construction will most certainly spoil it.

You might get 2 weeks in a row out there, that is on the plan for next Sat plus a Cotter to Bendorra Dam Road on 17th April. After that, the weather will be too uncertain.

You're going well. I'm having trouble getting up the "hill" near the Governor General's.
