Running Calendar: Canberra Marathon - April, Canberra Half Marathon - May, Mt Rob Roy Challenge - May, Bush Capital Marathon (60km) - July.

The quad soreness I had post race is fading fast and I think I'll right to resume short running by Friday. What's next on the cards is the Canberra Marathon. With no injuries post SFT I put my entry for the Canberra Marathon in today.

So the wheel turns and the training begins. I would like to think that I could do a sub 3:30 marathon this year - time will tell.

To run 3 hrs 30 min, that's 5 min pace over the distance. The distances can now be shorter and flatter, but must be faster. The SFT training has given you a big base to run off, no need to push that, just easy running with speed work.
