A mid distance run planned for today. Had hoped to step the distance up to the 25km mark but the wind forced me to settle on 20km. The usual run down to Pine Is but I came home along the river track and then through the dog exercise yard.

I felt good after yesterdays long run. Ran the first 8km at 4:30 pace then the wind picked up an threw me off my game. Rest day tomorrow and then I will have to make sure I run as close to my daily total for the next four days to set me up for next Saturday's long run.

That was a good back up run today. Yep, the wind was a problem, and I seemed to have it against all the way.

Prelim arrangements for Saturday. I will leave home at 7:50 am, run to the track behind your place to meet at 8: 15 am. Work out from there where and how far we need to go, probably 43-48 km depending on the weather. Leave Ok or otherwise on either blog.
