The thing about being on leave is that you get to run when you want and for how far you want without time restrictions. So I've been running early and getting 20k done each day. Today was a bit longer to make up for the weekend as I'll be down the coast next week for a well earned rest.
This weeks total was a respectable 150k. Next week will be a shorter week while I'm soaking up the sun and surf and then back into a longer week.

Nice work. Enjoy the coast - looks like you've well and truly earned it!
I've had a lesson from Martin that our long slow running has killed off all the speed in the legs. I tried to run a faster tempo on Friday to no avail.
Now will be cutting back at least one mid week run to get faster again. Need at least one effort at 10 km pace or better, that's around 10 kms in 41-42 minutes for me, either on the grass at Calwell or a 10 km flat run. The base will still be there from weekend running.
Big week! Yes, enjoy the break from work.
Geez, I'm going to buy 2F a six-pack if he ever runs 41:30 at Calwell!
41-42 minutes for 10 kms at Calwell would be a huge ask. The grass would need to be perfect, no wind & sunny.
