My recovery is really starting to frustrate me. One minute it seems I am making real progress and then it starts up again. I have no choice but to persevere. For something no bigger than a 10 cent piece it has been very disruptive.

I finally have the mtn bike I was borrowing. It hasn't been cared for very well but it will suit me. The gears are stuffed and I can only use the front chain rings, will have to see about getting them fixed. Two Fruits, any time you want to go for a ride let me know.

I also have a road bike in the back shed. I am going to drag that out and fix it up. Then I will start riding to work a few days a week. Anything to keep my fitness up until I can run again.

Great idea to ride the bikes, both the mtn and road bikes. Especially good for recovery or waiting for an injury to get right. If you ride to work you can catch the bus home or part way and travel for free with the bike on the front if lucky enought to have a bus with a bike rack with a spare place. I heard during the week that 286 bikes a day are carried on the buses, all getting a free ride. Good unless you have a weekly ticket. You may have read, I have decided to cut back to the Bull's Head Challenge, don't want to go backwards in the recovery and fitness especially if I get serious and do the Coast to Kozi.run in Dec.
Yep, I will certainly go bike riding with you, good for Sunday mornings instead of running. Still can finish down at the river for a cool water recovery, then ride home easy. A couple of hours leisurely now the weather is improving.
