The passing of a work colleague this week brought home how fragile life is. Eight years ago he had a skin cancer removed. Seven months ago he was told that a malignant cell had lodged in his lung (I think) and there was no treatment for it. He passed away last Friday.

It just shows that you should live every day as if it were your last.

After last Saturday's run around LBG I entered the Canberra Marathon. I've managed to keep my running going this week despite a series of muscle spasms and this morning I ran LBG again.

I think I'm about three weeks away from being fully fit so Canberra may be a bit hit and miss for a decent time. You never know what the day will bring.

Exactly - and look both ways (twice) before crossing the road. Watch out for buses! I'm getting a skin lesion cut out tomorrow. Hard to avoid the sun being a runner. Take it easy this week. Will look out for you Sunday.
