Running Calendar: I am training for the 6FT Track in March.
Todays run was exactly the same as yesterday. My leg felt good in the early part but started to tighten up as I got to Woodcock Drive. Along the Bonython track it loosened up a little. A fairly uneventful run except for Mr Blue Tongue Lizard who was crossing the road at the top car park at Pine Island. He was the biggest bluey I have ever seen and he puffed himself up and hissed and flashed his big blue tongue when I approached. I made sure he crossed the road safely and then continued on my way. This is one of the things I love best about running tracks and trails, you never know what you will see.
I made it home and started my two hourly icing again. The injury doesn't appear to be getting any worse for my running. One more run for the year tomorrow that will take me over 4500kms for the year. I will have to sit back a reassess if I should attempt 6FT Track. Might get advice from Two Fruits.
