After a good run at the Weston Creek Half I am confident that things are going forward. So I have put my entry in for the 50km Ultra at the Australian Running Festival. I'm looking forward to seeing how I perform at a longer distance.
Still plenty of work to be done in the next few weeks. Keeping it simple with weekly totals around the 120km mark. Making sure I am at the right body weight and hitting those trigger points when ever they appear. Really it is a delicate balance to keep from tipping over the edge too soon. Drink station duty tomorrow for the Rob Roy run. Should see some spent runners coming though as it's an up hill course.
