Running Calendar: Canberra Centenary 100, Bogong to Hotham 2014
I'm now under two weeks before I run the Centenary 100. For me this week is the most difficult. The hard running has just been completed but full taper is not there yet. The legs feel good and want to run hard but there is no value now to go and trash them. So it's a case of back off the distance and the intensity. Next week it will only be a few short runs to roll the legs over.
By the time next week comes I'll be jumping out of my skin. I can't wait for this one. A one off race on home soil.
I still need to focus on my race but have already started to set the wheels in motion for the next race. Bogong to Hotham has been a bucket list run I have wanted to do but never thought I would get to. So when Two Fruits threw this up as a possibility I jumped quickly. The entry is in so now I will leave it alone until I start recovery from the Centenary 100
