Running Calendar: Canberra Centenary 100
I have been pretty happy with my running over the last few weeks. Plenty of leg strength and endurance coming into the mix. I have been putting in some consistent weekday runs and some very valuable weekend runs that have time on feet and distance.
I've been using the Centenary 100 course for my long runs. It's broken into four legs for the relay teams. It makes sense to use it for my training. I don't want to have to rely on course markings to navigate.
I have started to use the Course feature on my Garmin. It works a treat for finding my way around the different legs.
Another big weekend run planned on Saturday. Leg 4 followed by leg 1. That's Majura, Ainslie, Red Hill, Isaccs Ridge and Taylor then run home over Wanniassa. Over the top of each of them = plenty of up and plenty of down.

That's good recent running, must be better off without me at the moment. You must show me how to use the course feature on the Garmin, always looked too scary to use.
I'm weeks away from any descent length run, still have plenty of fatigue.
You'll have to explain the course feature to Jen Bright. She's going to get lost for sure. More hopeless than Ruth at navigation and that's saying something.
Ewen I saw Jen's name in the list of entrants. If she hasn't run over her leg of the race then she will get lost at some point but I think she will have company. I saw Maria White on Blact Mtn on Saturday and she was coming the wrong way along one of the tracks. Hopefully I will stay ahead of most of the relay entrants. It's going to be a long day/night for the organisers.
