I have been a at loose end since dropping the GC run. I put a lot of mental and physical energy into preparing for the run and when it suddenly wasn't there it's hard to know whether to keep the training going or hold back for a few weeks.
To top it off I got a chill from last Saturday's run and it went to my chest. I'll try and get rid of it over the next week and then I should have my training plan for the Tan done.
I really need to get back to doing long Saturday runs on trails. I've really missed them!

Take it easy until you are 100% healthy again. You've done enough training. You could do the Tan ultra on the training you've already done.
Email/msg me about support crewing. Like I said, I'll probably be in Melb anyway, and after my run in the Tan Ultra 100km last year, I know every cm of that 100km :).
I know every cm of the way to the toilets and coffee shop ;)
I bet you are glad you are not running the GC100 this w'end .... they are expecting 80mm of rain on Sun. Yikes! And Yuk!
