Running Calendar: Canberra Centenary 100, Hume & Hovell 100
It's taken a while but I can now say that I am getting back into some sort of form. I'm starting to push my weekday runs to 18km and my long run up Mt Tennent and out to Honeysuckle Creek on Monday was probably the best and easiest I have run in a long while.
For now I'm concentrating on maintaining time on feet runs that leave me at the end of the week around the 120 - 130km mark. I'll start and push this out at the end of July after I take a short break to Fiji.
I'm also focusing more on what I do when I'm not running. Trigger points, physio exercises and strengthening are playing as big a part as the run it's self.
I've got the benefit of a long lead time before the Centenary 100 so I hope to be in the best shape I can for this run.

A mid winter break in warm Fiji sounds lovely. Is there a website for the Centenary 100 run??
Jog the line to the Canberra Centenary 100 is here.

Thanks! Very tempting to go in this event. At this point in time though, my mind is willing and able but my body is (a lot) less so :( But hey, I enjoy crewing so there are still "participation" options :)
