It was a very mixed weekend for me. Friday was the start of the Coast to Kosci. I followed the internet coverage all day as the race unfolded. A truly amazing group of runners ably supported by their crews.
On Saturday I had an excellent run up Mt Tennent, Baroomba Rocks, Honeysuckle and Mt Tennent again. One of those days you know everything has fallen in place.
Sunday saw me taking my Cavalier King Charles to the vet. He was 15 years old and falling apart at the seams. The vet said there was nothing they could do for him and the kindest thing would be to put him to sleep. To say I am deeply saddened is an understatement. He has been part of this family for 15 years. I will miss his help in the garden and a barbeque will never be the same. Rest in Peace my little mate.
