Just catching up on my totals as I have been a bit slack during the taper for the Injinji 12hr. Speaking of which, 'tis done.
Strange as it might seem I really enjoyed running around in circles, in the dark for 12 hours. It's a real test of physical and mental endurance. I've run three races over this distance now and they seem to be getting easier. Really it's about having a recipe and refining it. Training, nutrition, preparation and a race plan.
Although I didn't quite get over the 100 I know that with the next one I will crack it. This little glitch will stick in my psyche until I do.
I was a little tired but that has gone and I had a swollen knee for a couple of days, that's also fixed. So tomorrow it's back on the horse for a little run. If that goes ok then I'm really looking forward to a Cotter run on Saturday.

Sounds like you've pulled up well. Running for 12 hours is amazing. I couldn't do that without an 8 hour nana nap in the middle. If you'd stuck with Pam you would have got the 100k. Next time!
